"JURASSIC WORLD" This painting features a series of vertical, elongated drips of paint in various shades of gray, yellow, and blue. The colors stream downward in uneven flows, creating movement and fluidity. I wanted the background to remain a clean, bright white, to contrast sharply with the vibrant colors. I made the blue and yellow hues intermingle in places, forming soft, organic shapes that contrast with the more linear, gravity-driven drips. I wanted to evoke a dynamic shape, yet harmonious interplay between controlled and uncontrolled elements, blending abstraction with a delicate, almost ethereal quality. Thus an image that reflects Jurassic.
